Our lodges provide the perfect blend of prime fishing access and comfortable living. From early morning casts to relaxing evenings after a successful day, and with the charming village of Brandesburton nearby for local amenities and the attractions of Beverley just a short drive away, our lodges are designed to enhance your complete East Yorkshire angling getaway.
Accommodation: The Cabin
Escape to our large, well-appointed wooden lodge set beside the lakes. The property features a bright and spacious kitchen-diner, fully equipped with everything you need, including a large fridge freezer, electric oven, hob, dishwasher, and all the cookware required to prepare anything from a quick meal to a full three-course dinner. The dining area enjoys lovely views across the lakes and opens out onto a private garden with both lawned and paved areas, perfect for outdoor dining.
The comfortable lounge provides a relaxing space to unwind, with French doors leading onto a raised decked area overlooking the lakes – an ideal spot for your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
The lodge includes three flexible bedrooms, which can be arranged as king-size beds or twins upon request. Each bedroom benefits from its own en-suite shower room and offers views across the surrounding farm fields or allotment.
Parking is available to the side of the lodge for up to four cars. Bedding, towels, tea towels, and basic essentials such as condiments, tea, coffee, and sugar are all included. Guests also have access to a washing machine during their stay.

An absolutely fabulous place to stay. The accommodation is brilliant with everything provided, and it's spotlessly clean! We are going to try a book again but is very popular.
Clean, well cared for, excellent fish care, real friendly owner. Lots of choice of pags and three lakes offering bream, tench, Ide, crucians and more. Idyllic place with great attention to detail, tree planting and peg care. Site users are courteous and the toilets are spotless. Nets and mats provided on site, bring your own net pole. Natural baits work as well here as pellets.
This is a great traditional fishery, it is immaculately maintained with solid level pegs and access across the banks making pushing a trolley easy. the fishing is superb and Steve is friendly and always available to provide advice
Visited and fished for the 1st time today after following on Facebook for a while..wow..what a venue..absolutely stunning fishery.the place is immaculate and fishing heaven.spotless toilets..safe car parking. And amazing fishing to top it off. Credit to the owner who cant do enough for you..give it a go and see for yourself.

Mirror Pool
Our dedicated carp lake, renowned for its healthy population of mirror carp. Prepare for some exciting carp fishing action!
The Pit
A more traditional deep-water lake teeming with a wide variety of species, including bream, carp, and tench. Explore its depths and discover what’s lurking below.
The Clay Pool
For a more natural coarse fishing experience, this 4.5-acre lake boasts a diverse range of fish and varying depths, promising good sport with bream, roach, and tench.
Enjoy exclusive access to all three lakes on Mondays and Tuesdays. On other days, a limited number of pre-booked day anglers will also be present.
The local area
You’ll find plenty to explore just beyond Star Carr Lakes. The local Golf Club is conveniently located just outside our entrance, offering a perfect option for a hassle-free meal.
Within a couple of miles lies the pretty village of Brandesburton, where you can find a local shop for any supplies and a variety of places to eat.
For a more significant outing, the popular town of Beverley is a short drive away, boasting its stunning Minster, a wide selection of cafés and restaurants, and a pleasant pedestrian shopping area – ideal for a change of scenery.
