Mirror Pool, formerly known as The Old Trout Lake, is now our dedicated Carp fishing lake. Its name reflects both the natural beauty of our fishery and the stunning Mirror Carp that reside here. This lake is carefully managed to provide an excellent carp fishing experience, focusing on quality carp angling.

Booking Mirror Pool
You must be a member of one of our syndicates to fish the mirror pool.
Syndicate members must pre book to use the Mirror Pool. We make only 10 pegs available, and the lake is open Wednesday to Sunday – (7am to 9:30pm Mon-Fri and 7am to 8.30pm Sunday). Send a text message to Steve on 07494 706627 to book. Booking guarantees, you a place at the pool. Pegs are allocated on arrival.
Night fishing is allowed in this pool. This must be booked in advance and anglers must be on site by 9:30pm
- Accommodation Guests: Guests staying in our accommodation also need to pre-book Mirror Pool if you wish to fish on Wednesday to Sunday. This is done via text message. Text Steve on 07494 706627.

The Mirror Pool
The Water
Mirror Pool reflects the natural beauty of our fishery. It is now a carp-focused lake, with species like tench and bream having been relocated to The Pit. This provides a dedicated challenge for carp anglers. Pike are being netted in our other pools and transferred to this pool to build the pike numbers.
The Residents
Mirror Pool now contains a healthy stock of Mirror Carp, and a growing population of pike along with other carp species. The lake is managed to ensure these fish thrive, offering a rewarding experience for those targeting carp.
What to Expect
Anglers can expect to target carp in a well-maintained and picturesque environment. The focus here is on a dedicated carp fishing experience, with plans to continually improve the quality of the carp stock.
